2017 Spring Meetings Civil Society Policy Forum (CSPF)

CLOSING SOON: CSO Registration

Registration is open for civil society representatives wishing to attend the next CSPF, which will convene in Washington, D.C., from April 18-21, 2017. Registration closes on Monday, April 3, 2017

NOW AVAILABLE: Preliminary Schedule

The preliminary schedule for the CSPF is now available on the CSPF website. It will be updated regularly. Session descriptions and panelist are coming soon. 

CALL FOR FEEDBACK: Interim Working Group Draft Recommendations

Provide comments to the draft recommendations from the CSO Interim Working Group on the creation of a long-term CSO Working Group to support the CSPF. Deadline: April 4, 2017

The WDR 2018, Realizing the Promise of Education for Development, represents an opportunity to take stock of what we know and provide guidance on how to expand the scope and quality of education around the world. A three-week e-Forum on the WDR 18 poses new questions each week focused on one of three major thematic areas: Learning Crisis; Innovation and Scaling Up. Provide your input here. CALL FOR PUBLIC COMMENT: Mapping the Oil and Gas Industry to the Sustainable Development Goals: An Atlas

The UN Development Programme (UNDP), International Finance Corporation (IFC), and IPIECA (global oil and gas industry association for environmental and social issues) have released this draft report for comment. Deadline: March 31, 2017.

 

 

APPLY FOR SPECIAL ACCREDITATION: UNGA Preparatory Process for a Global Compact for Safe, Orderly and Regular Migration

In accordance with UN General Assembly resolution 71/1, the "New York Declaration for Refugees and Migrants," a preparatory process will soon begin for the intergovernmental negotiations of a global compact for safe, orderly and regular migration, to be adopted at an intergovernmental conference on international migration in 2018. NGOs and CSOs may apply for special accreditation to this process here. Deadline: April 9, 2017.
